What is a 13F filing?

Institutional investment managers with over $100 million in U.S. equity assets must disclose their holdings to the SEC each quarter on Form 13F-HR, within 45 days of quarter-end. That makes 13F filings the single best public window into what hedge funds and famous investors are buying and selling. 13F Pro reads these filings directly from SEC EDGAR and turns them into clean, searchable portfolios for 8,700+ institutional investors.
